UPDATE: Arkansas House Amends Accident Response Fee Ban Bill, Will Take It Up on Monday

NAMIC has learned that the Arkansas House amended HB 1895, an Act to Prohibit the Imposition of an Accident Response Service Fee, today, and the amended version will be voted on Monday. The bill will ensure Arkansas citizens are not subject to double taxation for core government services, and there is still time for NAMIC members writing in Arkansas to contact their House legislators asking that they vote in favor of the bill.

No municipalities in Arkansas have instituted accident response fees, so now is the time to make certain the practice will not take hold in the state.

Please let me know if you are able to make contact and if you have any questions. Thank you your help.
