The difference a year makes. We are faced with a fundamentally different economic, regulatory, political, and legislative environment now than we were just 12 short months ago. When 2009 began we were watching history in the making. After an historic election in 2008, President Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of the United States. On his coattails, rode enormous Democratic majorities in the House and the Senate – in the upper chamber they eventually reached a filibuster-stopping 60 votes – and the party was ready with an incredibly ambitious agenda. Right out of the gate he took on a massive stimulus bill, cap-and-trade legislation, healthcare reform, and a comprehensive overhaul of the nation’s financial services regulatory structure.

Access Denied

In order to access members-only content, you will need to make sure you that you are a NAMIC member and that you are currently logged into the website.

I AM A MEMBER. Why was my access denied?

	I am not logged into the website. In the upper right hand corner you will need to enter your NAMIC.org username and password.

	I forgot my username/password. In the upper right hand corner, select "Forgot Password?". After submitting the form, you will receive an email which contains your username, a temporary password, and a link to reset your password.

	I have never registered for NAMIC.org. In the upper right hand corner, select “CREATE ACCOUNT”. Please be aware that you will initially be logged into NAMIC.org as a non-member. It can take up to 1 business day to process a member access request. You will receive an email when your request has been approved. You will then need to log out of the website and log back in to view member content.

	I recently registered for NAMIC.org, but my status is “non-member”. It can take up to 1 business day to process your request for member access. Once you have received the welcome email from NAMIC, you will then need to log out of the website and log back in to update your access level. Please see the full process below.
