Rhode Island: Department Issues Bulletin to Implement Sales Tax Mandate for Totaled Vehicles
The Department of Business Regulation has issued a bulletin to implement a state budget provision that eliminates the sales tax exemption for proceeds applicable to total loss motor vehicles received as a result of an insurance claim.
