Oppose Iowa House File 758: Trial Bar Proposal Increases Damages in Wrongful Death Lawsuits
House File 758 would amend the wrongful death lawsuit law by creating a measure of damages for the deceased’s “loss of enjoyment of life.” These damages are in addition to the economic loss the family has sustained.
