Massachusetts: After Loss in Senate Race, Coakley’s Tenure as AG an Issue

While much attention has been devoted to the nationwide effects of the Massachusetts U.S. Senate race, for property/casualty insurers doing business in the state the immediate significance of Scott Brown’s victory is that Martha Coakley will continue a tenure as attorney general in which she has sought to expand her office’s oversight of insurance matters.
