Senate Financial Services Regulatory Reform Legislation Still in Flux

Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., efforts to reach a bipartisan consensus on reshaping the regulatory structure of the financial markets hit a speed bump last week. All 41 Senate Republicans sent a joint letter to Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., voicing their opposition to the legislation that was passed out of the Senate Banking Committee in March.
