Florida: No Pumpkin at Midnight: PIP Reform a Cinderella Story at Last

The Florida Legislature adjourned at the stroke of midnight on March 9, the last scheduled day of the 2012 session. A compromise, but strong PIP reform package passed in the waning hours, along with provisions to radically lower Citizens regular assessments, and repeal the excess profits law on workers’ comp.
