Financial Services CommitteeSsends NFIP Reform to House Floor
On May 12, The House Financial Services Committee on Insurance, Housing and Community Opportunity passed H.R. 1309, The Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2011, by a vote of 54-0. The bill now awaits a vote on the House floor, currently scheduled for May 24, before moving to the Senate for consideration.
