NFIP Extension Tied to House-Senate Showdown This Week
The National Flood Insurance Program remains in budget limbo as Congress has yet to pass a Continuing Resolution to fund the federal government through Nov. 18. A short-term NFIP extension is tied to the CR. The NFIP is currently set to expire Sept. 30 – also the last date for which the federal government is funded.
