NAMIC Webinar | Succession Strategies that Grow Leadership Capacity | November 7, 2012

General Information

In today’s new world of work, leadership remains much sought after, yet not well-defined and not well-developed throughout organizations. As technology advances, stakeholder demands shift, regulatory change takes hold and globalization presses on, most organizations realize the importance of planning for the future—especially in terms of leadership. However, not enough companies are applying the discipline and rigor needed to develop the leadership capacity required for today’s ever increasing pace of change.

Now is the time to define and assess our current workforce for incumbent successors. In order to develop a clear strategy, leadership competencies must be clearly defined, recognized in employees and developed. When organizations do that well, succession occurs naturally and with continuity. Kirk Goeldner, CPCU, CIC, senior vice president and managing director, The Jacobson Group, will explore with you ways to develop a differentiated workforce strategy, with a focus on leadership competencies and development.
