Maryland Governor Appoints Public Service Veteran as Insurance Commissioner

Therese Goldsmith will assume the role as Maryland’s new insurance commissioner on June 13. Goldsmith has been commissioner of the Public Service Commission since 2009 under Gov. Martin O’Malley.
