Since the beginning of the Market Conduct Annual Statement program as a pilot project, property/casualty companies have filed the MCAS by April 30 each year while life/annuity companies were given until June 30 to make their submissions. During the past year, as a result of the ongoing development at the NAIC of a new system to accommodate MCAS filings for all jurisdictions, NAIC staff has recommended that a single filing date be adopted for MCAS filing by all companies.
