Allegations of Corruption Stain Congressional Calendar

Instead of turning to important legislative initiatives to address unemployment and provide tax benefits to small business before leaving for August recess, Congress found itself once again addressing allegations of impropriety and misconduct – clouding the already unclear legislative schedule leading into November’s mid-term elections.
