Massachusetts: NAMIC Opposes Bill to Ban Use of Credit, Education, Occupation as Rating Factors

At a hearing of the Joint Legislative Committee on Financial Services last week, NAMIC opposed proposed legislation aimed at prohibiting insurers from using factors such as credit, education, and occupation in the rating and underwriting of auto insurance.
