Oregon: Two Bills Encouraging Frivolous Lawsuits Dead; One More Remains

HB 2618, treble damages and attorney fees against insurers for any violation of motor vehicle repair law, and HB 2494, first- and third-party bad faith, failed to survive the first procedural deadline of the session on April 8, so they are now both dead for the session.
