Our Position

NAMIC OPPOSES the inclusion of property/casualty insurance under the jurisdiction of the Office of Financial Research. The mission of the OFR is to collect information on the financial services industry – but is granted broad subpoena power and could create duplicate regulation of the insurance industry.
