Conquering Cancer Together
It hardly seems possible that seven years have passed since our son Joey was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma, a bone cancer. I had been NAMIC president just a year and a half. He was only 8 years old – too young to understand exactly what was going on and why it was happening to him … of course, he wasn’t the only one to question why.
