Ohio: Certified Drivers Abstract Fee Remains in Effect While State Appeals Decision

According to NAMIC’s trade partner, the Ohio Insurance Institute, Judge Richard Frye of the Franklin County Common Pleas Court ruled on Friday that the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles could continue to collect the new multi-million dollar fee for certified copies of driving records while the agency appeals his finding that it was unconstitutional.
