NAMIC Oklahoma Action Alert

Last week NAMIC sent an Action Alert asking that you contact your legislators asking them to vote in favor of HB 2013, which deals with accident response fees and online verification. Since then the House of Representatives passed the bill. NAMIC thanks all of you for the work you did to help make this happen.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING:

We still have to get the bill through the Senate. We are asking you to help us with one final push.

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR STATE SENATOR AND URGE HIM OR HER TO VOTE “YES” ON HB 2013

Please call or e-mail your senator. When doing this, give your name, company, and address. Then provide the following information:

Please vote Yes on HB 2013.
We have reached agreement with the firefighters so that it is clear the bill does not affect things like hazardous material clean-up charges that are covered by other laws.
Accident response fees are double taxation.
