Senate Committee to Hold Second Hearing on “Bank Tax”
This week, the Senate Finance Committee will hold the second in a series of hearings on the proposed creation of a Financial Crisis Responsibility Fee. The new fee is being justified as a means of recovering the government assistance offered to financial service companies under the TARP and similar programs.
