Colorado: NAMIC Asks Governor to Veto Service of Process Bill Denying Insurance Consumers of Due Process, Expose Insurers to Greater First-Party Bad-Faith Liability
NAMIC sent Gov. Bill Ritter a letter asking him to veto, HB 1164, Concerning Service of Process in Actions Concerning Incidents that may be Covered by a Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy. Unfortunately, the governor signed the bill into law.
