Snow Stalls Efforts to Repeal McCarran’s Antitrust Provision

Since talks on the major healthcare reform bill have collapsed on Capitol Hill, House Democratic leaders have decided to take a piecemeal approach to passing legislation. Part of this process is a stand-alone bill that attacks the antitrust provision of the McCarran-Ferguson Act for health and medical malpractice insurers.
