Oklahoma: Legislature Sends Constitutional Amendment Reforming Intangible Property Tax to Vote of the People

The Oklahoma Legislature passed SJR 52 to amend the state’s constitution to make it clear that the state property tax does not apply to intangible property. Intangible property includes trademarks, copyrighted materials, databases as well as important marketing tools such as customer lists and goodwill
