NAMIC Steps Up Pressure for Flood Insurance Reform in Senate
NAMIC President and CEO Chuck Chamness joined Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., and David Vitter, R-La., to call for a vote on the Senate Banking Committee’s flood insurance reform legislation at a Feb. 14 press conference in the U.S. Capitol. Tester and Vitter authored a bipartisan letter urging Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to schedule a vote on the bill as soon as possible.
