Louisiana: Katrina/Rita Anniversary, Oil Spill Discussions Feature Insurance
Insurance was the focus of a summit convened last week by Louisiana Commissioner Jim Donelon to take stock of the “recovery, reform, and results” since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita five years ago. In addition, a joint legislative insurance committee meeting on the status of the oil spill covered insurance ramifications of that more recent Gulf Coast disaster.
