Other Property/Casualty Insurance Matters

Like the Market Regulation & Consumer Affairs (D) Committee, much of the activity will be limited to organization of working groups and task forces and routine reports. Members of the single new group reporting to the (C) Committee, the Transparency & Readability Task Force, have been named but no chair has been appointed. The group is charged with the study and evaluation of actions that will improve the capacity of consumers to comparison shop for insurance on the basis of differences in coverage. The group will not meet in Austin.
