Colorado: Insurer-Backed, Pro-Consumer Roofing Measure Approved By Two Senate Panels
An insurance industry supported ‘Consumer Bill of Rights’ for Roofing Work passed out of the Senate Appropriations Committee, as amended, on a 7-3 vote on April 21. It has been referred to the Committee of the Whole for a floor vote. The bill, as amended, passed out of the Senate Business, Labor, and Technology Committee earlier in the week on a 5-1 vote, according to NAMIC’s Western State Affairs Manager Christian J. Rataj.
