On Monday, April 26, a public hearing in the Colorado House Judiciary Committee will be held on SB 76, Concerning Unreasonable Insurance Claims Settlement Practices, sponsored by Senator Morgan Carroll. This extremely contentions, anti-insurance legislation passed out of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on a strict party-line vote of 4-3, and then passed out of the Senate on Third Reading on a 20-14 vote.
