Iowa Legislature Adjourns Without Passing Massive Damages Bill – Please Thank Senators Who Stood Firm
NAMIC’s state trade association partner, the Iowa Insurance Institute, reports that the 2010 legislative session has ended and HF 758, which would have created a new category of damages and thereby massively increased jury awards, was not called for a vote.
