Mississippi: NAMIC Supports Cat Savings Accounts, Enhanced Insurance Fraud Reporting
SB 2489, which would prohibit civil liability against a person or entity for reporting insurance fraud, was referred Feb. 20 to the House Insurance Committee. NAMIC members are encouraged to contact committee members to ask that they approve the bill before March 5, the deadline for committees to report bills originating in the other house.
