Political Parties Hold Annual Retreats
Both the House and Senate officially return this week and, although the healthcare debate still looms, both chambers’ schedules will remain lighter than normal for the first couple of weeks. January is a time when members return to Washington after the holiday recess and both parties hold their annual caucus retreat.
