Florida Department of Financial Services Withdraws its Proposed Amendments on Adjuster Conduct, Ethical Requirements

The Florida Department of Financial Services today filed a Notice of Withdrawal for two of its three controversial proposed amendments on adjuster conduct and ethical requirements. The amendments were the department’s attempt to correct several service-related issues remaining from the 2004-2005 hurricane season. The amendments to Rule 69B-220.001 relating to licensing of emergency adjusters have not been withdrawn.
