Romney Looks to Palmetto State to Take Control of GOP Race

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s back-to-back wins in Iowa and New Hampshire over the past 16 days have established him as the heavy favorite for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. Romney became the first non-incumbent Republican to ever win the Iowa caucuses and then the Granite State primary, the first two contests in the primary and caucus calendar.
