Ohio: Dog Bite Gets Two Bites (of the Apple)

In an opinion intended to address a certified conflict between appellate districts, the Ohio Supreme Court has ruled that a plaintiff with a dog-bite claim may, in the same case, pursue claims for both common-law negligence and statutory liability under R.C. 955.28. The decision for Beckett et al. v. Warren was decided Jan. 6, and includes a strongly worded dissent by two justices.
