Market Conduct Annual Statement
After significant changes were made to the Market Conduct Annual Statement last year, it is doubtful that any revisions will be undertaken in 2011. The Market Analysis Procedures Working Group, responsible for the data elements included in MCAS as well as the lines of business covered, has until June 1 to recommend any changes that would take effect on Jan. 1, 2012. Data elements seem pretty well set after last year’s revisions, but the MAP could consider the addition of new lines of business when the group meets in Austin.
