Arizona: ‘March Madness’ has New Meaning After State Fees Bill Gets Hijacked in Senate, Amended With Anti-Consumer Amendment

HB 2197, a state administrative fees bill, was gutted March 5 and replaced with a highly problematic auto glass repair amendment. The amended bill passed out of the Senate Committee on Government Reform March 7 on a 5-1 vote. The bill will now go to the Senate Rules Committee, then to the Senate floor for a vote.
