Connecticut: NAMIC Opposes Reduction in Flex Band

In testimony provided to Connecticut’s Insurance and Real Estate Committee, NAMIC opposed a provision of H.B. 5926 that would reduce the flex-rating band for personal lines from its current 6 percent to 3 percent. NAMIC otherwise supported the bill’s goal of extending the flex-rating system for another two years and encouraged lawmakers to consider making the program permanent.
