Biggert Presses Treasury on FSOC Insurance ‘Expert’
At a House Financial Services Committee hearing focused on international regulatory issues, Rep. Judy Biggert (R-IL) sought to ascertain from a Treasury department official when the Obama administration will nominate someone for the seat on the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) reserved for an insurance expert.
