NAIC Task Force Conference Call on Climate Risk Disclosure Survey Tomorrow
The NAIC’s Climate Change and Global Warming (EX) Task Force will hold an important conference call tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m. EST. The purpose of the call is to discuss final details for administering the NAIC’s controversial “Insurer Climate Risk Disclosure Survey.” As you know, NAMIC has consistently opposed a rule to require public “disclosure” of insurers’ “climate risk” and strategies for addressing climate change since this idea was first proposed by the task force more than two years ago.
