It’s not exactly a bold statement to say that it is a tough time for insurers everywhere. We are operating in a politically treacherous environment – our industry continues to come under attack in Washington from the potential for new onerous and duplicative regulations to efforts to repeal the McCarran-Ferguson limited anti-trust exemption.
