NAMIC's Message Continues to Break Through the Noise on Capitol Hill
Since the collapse of AIG, NAMIC has engaged in a sustained advocacy campaign designed to educate lawmakers in Washington about the property/casualty insurance industry. Battling misperceptions about the industry has been a challenge, particularly in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Bill debate when the 111th Congress was rushing to “re-regulate” much of the financial services sector.
