Arizona: Anti-Consumer Rental Car 'Liability Shifting' Bill Got 'Run Off the Road' in House Committee
The House Banking and Insurance Committee killed SB 1286, the rental car primacy bill, March 12 on a 5-2 vote. NAMIC met with members of the committee to express concerns about the bill, submitted written testimony in opposition to the bill, and distributed several member action alerts to assist members in their grassroots advocacy against the bill.
