North Carolina: Rate Modernization Bill in Committee
SB 490, which would remove the Rate Bureau from the auto insurance rate filing process and establish a flex-rating system, is scheduled to be heard in the Senate Insurance Committee tomorrow, along with SB 477, which would keep the Rate Bureau but allow for “upward deviations.”
