Colorado: Trial Lawyers Win First Round – The Unreasonable Insurance Claims Settlement Practices Bill Voted Out of House Committee

Trial lawyer greed prevailed Feb. 11 in a battle over SB 76, Concerning Unreasonable Insurance Claims Settlement Practices, sponsored by Sen. Morgan Carroll, who is also a trial lawyer. The bill passed out of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on a strict party-line vote of 4-3.
