Delay Granted for Dodd-Frank Derivative Reforms

While Congress is in recess, implementation of the Dodd-Frank financial services reform continues. Critics of the legislation have argued since its passage that there is not enough time given to the financial services industry to meet all the requirements of the bill and to adequately respond to the many regulatory rulemakings. In response, some agencies have begun to slow down their implementation process.
