Legislation Introduced to Address Medicare Secondary Payer Issues
Last week, Reps. Patrick Murphy, D-Penn., and Tim Murphy, R-Penn., introduced H.R. 4796, the Medicare Secondary Payer Enhancement Act of 2010. The bill would legislatively address several issues arising from the implementation of the Section 111 Medicare Secondary Payer reporting requirements mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
