Nevada: Senate Committee OKs NAMIC-backed Towing and Storage Reforms with Amendments
Legislation to reform how towing and storage companies bill insurance consumers – SB 142, which had been amended and passed out of committee on April 11 – was amended again by the full Senate on April 19 and will now head for a final vote on the Senate floor. Christian J. Rataj, NAMIC’s western state affairs manager, said the measure will still help expedite the claims adjusting process for insurers and policyholders.
