Major Changes Coming to Statehouses in 2011
The 2010 state midterm elections could easily be classified as a Republican tidal wave. From gubernatorial elections to state legislatures, Republicans essentially reversed what Democrats accomplished in 2008, making double-digit gains on governor’s seats and taking over the majority in 19 legislative chambers in 13 states.
