Nebraska Bill to Repeal Guest Passenger Statutes ADVANCES

Last year, the trial bar and its allies introduced LB 216, a bill to repeal Nebraska’s guest passenger statutes. The current law limits the ability of family members to sue each other in routine automobile negligence cases. It is an important protection against fraud.
