Nevada: NAMIC’s Amendment Removing Auto Insurers From DMV Advisory Board Bill Passes Out of Assembly Committee
The Assembly Transportation Committee accepted NAMIC’s proposed amendment last week to remove auto insurers from the study and investigation authority of the DMV Advisory Board. NAMIC originally submitted written testimony opposing SB 238 because the proposed bill would have formally authorized the DMV Advisory Board to evaluate auto insurer practices and make recommendations to the DOI.
